At Trade Legend, we strive to only list the highest-rated tradespeople. However, we understand that sometimes things don't go according to plan. While we are an introductory directory and not legally responsible for the specific workmanship of third-party contracts, we take platform integrity very seriously.
We strongly advise that your first step is to contact the tradesperson or company directly in writing. Professional tradespeople value their reputation and will usually work diligently to resolve any miscommunications or faults quickly.
If a dispute remains unresolved after 14 days of written notice to the company, you may lodge a formal complaint with us. We will:

Trade Legend operates solely as a directory aggregation service. We cannot offer legal advice, force a refund, or mandate a contractor to return to site. For severe financial disputes, we recommend utilizing the Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards.
